Under the Covers

This top is probably one of the most unique pieces I own in my wardrobe. I remember when I was in the fitting room, I had asked one of the associates to confirm if I was wearing it correctly. I had never seen nor worn a top that had a very slant cut. Far different from the shoulder cut. I kid you not, the material itself is so soft that I felt I was wrapped in a bed sheet. All day, err day.

The crescent shoulder cut instantly makes the top very classy and sexy. It was a hot day, so I paired it with shorts and open toed shoes. During the colder months, I’d recommend either leggings for a comfortable look, which can easily convert your day look into a night look. Switch the open toe to leather ankle boots instead. Also, since this look is all about accentuating the shoulder cut, be sure to put your hair up either in a bun or ponytail.

This is the kinda look that says, “I love you, but I love me more”. You know what? Nothing wrong with showing yourself a little love and reminding yourself that you’re one amazing woman. Sass!
