Reviews.com: Foundation Reviews and Testing

Hello my lovely readers. Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend and staying cool wherever you are!

Thought I’d share with you an interesting read for those of you who are currently looking for the best foundation for your skin type.

This not only depicts the top best foundations that have been researched and tested, but also details the following:

  • How to choose your shade
  • How to choose your level of coverage and finish
  • Foundation vs. Primer vs. Concealer
  • 6 Tips for Flawless foundation

I tend to have combination to oily skin, but this summer my skin has inclined dramatically towards oily skin that it has become quite annoying. Though, a part of me is  trying to be patient as I read somewhere that those who have oily skin are less prone to premature aging & wrinkles. Eventually, we’re all heading there, but if my oily skin can withstand against time a little longer, then I welcome this inconvenience.

We all have gone through the horrendous process of finding the right foundation for our skin, but it seems that we have also spent extra time finding the correct shade. Indoor lighting versus natural lighting can be quite deceiving to the naked eye, until you realize you either look too light or too dark. Don’t get me started on photos that were taken with flash! Whenever you apply your makeup, if all possible, apply it within natural lighting. Open those drapes and let the natural light seep through as this will help you to know how much makeup you’re applying and whether the shading is correct.

Has anyone tried the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation? If so, please let me know your thoughts as I’m super curious to give this a try.

I hope this article helps you (as I know it will help me) to find the right foundation without going through the hassle.

Much love!
