Banana Republic Summer Cream Linen Outfit

We’re only a few days away until Summer is over and I can’t forget posting one of my favorite outfits that I’ve been loving recently. Is it possible to wear linen all year round? I don’t know, but this summer cream linen outfit from Banana Republic has been my go-to during the intense summer waves we’ve had in Oregon the past few weeks.

The color is so chic and can easily pair with the most basic pieces to elevate your entire look. Gold was what I gravitated towards the most. Pair with with white sneakers and you’re golden.

To add an extra touch of femininity, I thought a bralette would be cute to pair up under the vest. The lace style works with the look and honestly any bralette will do just fine. Tan or mocha/coffee color can also work and let’s be honest, they are way more comfortable than any regular bra.

In terms of makeup, keep it simple. Skip the heavy makeup look, skip the liquid eyeliner, just keep it less and fresh. If you want to add a pop of color, add pink or neutral to the eyelids. Pair it with a pink or nude lipstick.

I always love me a Jo Malone fragrance. The scent ‘English Pear & Freesia’ is one of my daily favorites. Luscious and golden – fresh note of just-ripe pears, wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias and mellowed by amber, patchouli and woods.

Also, I’m glad that we’re living in times where sneakers can be paired with any outfit from dresses to a suit. My feet have never been nor felt happier. Let me know if you’re also into linen and share with me how you’ve styled your linen wardrobe.
