A Portland icon since 1978 which serves lunch, happy hour, dinner, weekend brunch and house made cakes, tarts, cookies, ice creams, and more bakery treats. Their salmon salad is my favorite dish. Their desserts are out of this world!

Besaw’s

Brunch, to-go, delivery, comfort food, cocktails, etc. A historic restaurant which has become one of Portland’s favorites. Their breakfasts including the veggie sausage are delicious.

Barlow Artisanal Bar

Sister bar of adjoining full-service concept The Picnic House, is a Jazz Age-inspired cocktail lounge located in the heart of downtown Portland’s Broadway District. The cocktail program brings a modern twist to the classics of the early 20th century. The thoughtful food menu brings a farm-to-table approach to dishes that hearken back to the glamour of Old Hollywood.

The Picnic House

Has become one of the staples of downtown Portland’s flourishing culinary scene. It sits in the nearly century-old lobby of the original Heathman Hotel and retains the original hand-tiled floor and fluted wood columns. The lunch menu consists of a seasonal rotation of artisan sandwiches, inspired salads, and house made soups, while the dinner program adds curated meat & cheese boards into the mix.
